What this is
A free set of GCSE revision resources: lesson notes, key terms and downloadable files. No account, no charge, no advertising — here is why that is possible.
How it is organised
Four levels, mirroring how a course is actually taught: subject, topic, chapter, lesson. History holds Crime and Punishment; that topic holds the Early Medieval Period; that chapter holds its lessons.
Exam boards
The board is a filter rather than a level. Most of what boards teach overlaps, so a lesson both AQA and Edexcel set is written once and shown to both. Where a board differs, that chapter or lesson is tagged with the board it belongs to and only appears for it. Choosing a board in the menu therefore assembles that board's course out of the shared material plus whatever is specific to it — and anything left untagged simply follows the level above.
How to use it
- Read the lesson notes first; they follow the teaching order.
- Print any lesson for a clean paper copy, or download the whole pack at once.
If you are teaching it
Every lesson has a student/teacher switch at the top of the page. The teacher view puts the answers to every question on the page rather than one reveal at a time, and adds the teacher copies of the files — typically a slide deck with each exam question and its mark scheme built in, and a notes sheet carrying the model answers in full. The teacher pack downloads those and the student handouts together in one zip, so a lesson is one click rather than eight.
Nothing there is locked. The switch is a view, not an account: it changes what the page puts in front of you and nothing else.
Your data
Your revised ticks are kept in this browser's own storage on this device, so clearing your browser data clears them; they are never sent anywhere. There are no accounts and no third-party trackers: the site counts its own visits without knowing who anyone is, as the privacy page explains. The only cookies are the ones remembering which exam board you picked and whether you are reading as a student or a teacher.

These notes are a revision aid written from a specification, not a replacement for your exam board's official materials. Check the current specification and past papers on the board's own website before an exam.
