Is the number of people in a car discrete data or continuous data?

80 students each study one language: French, Spanish or German. 42 of the students are girls. 17 boys study French. 21 students study Spanish, and 12 of them are girls. How many boys study German?
Question 3 NON-CALCULATOR [3 marks]
40 people were asked which pet they own. 14 own a dog, 11 own a cat, 5 own a fish and 10 own no pet. Work out the angle for each sector of a pie chart.
Question 4 CALCULATOR [2 marks]
The pie chart shows how 900 people travel to work. The angle for bus is 80°. How many people travel to work by bus?

360 ÷ 40 = 9° per person. Dog 14 × 9 = 126°, cat 11 × 9 = 99°, fish 5 × 9 = 45°, none 10 × 9 = 90°.

80/360 × 900 = 200 people
